About the standard

What is ISO 22000:2018?

ISO 22000:2018 is the international standard for food safety management systems. It integrates the principles of HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) with a structured management system based on the High-Level Structure shared by ISO 9001 and ISO 14001.

The 2018 revision strengthened the risk-based approach, clarified the relationship between HACCP and the management system, and improved alignment with other ISO management standards.
